“Was skating along to work this morning, pretty slowly at the time thankfully when suddenly something locked up on the board and threw me off. When I checked the motors, one was really stiff and hard to turn, much more resistance than normal, when disassembling the motors I’ve found where the faceplate is attached to the motor core it has sheared off. I decided to check the other motor while I was at it, which felt fine at the time but upon disassembling it the faceplate also sheared off from the core, it must have been just barely hanging on.”
